Our client provide stock to the local automotive supply chain, and to the wider UK.This permanent role is advertised at £15/hour (£31,200/year based on 40 hours), therefore some industry experience is essential. You will need to hold a Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in a relevant vehicle mechanic subject.THE ROLE* To inspect the vehicles mechanical and electrical components, diagnosing any issues* To inspect the vehicles CPU and electronic systems* To conduct routine maintenance on the fleet* To advise logistics manager and drivers on good vehicle use, highlighting frequently diagnosed issues* To keep a log on works carried out and issues found* To work alongside the sites MOT Testers to ensure the fleet remains road worthy and vehicles are available for clientsTHE CANDIDATE* A Level 3 Diploma in a relevant subject* Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic* A working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical components of vehiclesIf you meet the above criteria, and would like to apply for the Vehicle Mechanic Level 3 role, please send your CV to Danny Whittingham.
