Job Description

Stock Condition SurveyorLocation: Grimsby / Boston (Agile Working)Salary: £34,470 per annum, dependent on experienceLHP are providing a unique opportunity for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to work within their Asset Team.The RoleAs a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will undertake, investigate, assess and record the materials, age and condition of their assets using the pre-set surveys provided and record on the asset management system.What are LHP like to work forLincolnshire Housing Partnership is an impressive company to work for and have recently been awarded a one to watch status in their first Best Companies survey. What will I be asked to do as a Stock Condition Surveyor
  • To undertake HHSRS inspection and report/action all CAT 1 & 2 Hazards and record onto the asset management system.
  • To undertake RdSAP surveys and record associated data onto the asset management system.
  • Undertake property handovers and defect inspections of all newly acquired stock working with the home ownership/development team and ensuring all appropriate data is recorded on the asset management database.
  • Undertake surveys of commercial let properties within the ownership of LHP.
  • Undertake surveys and provide recommendations relating to the permissions procedure providing necessary technical advice and guidance to colleagues including post inspections where required.
  • Provide support and cover to Capital and Estate Team where required.
What skills, attributes and experience will I need as a Stock Condition Surveyor
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrable working experience undertaking stock condition, RdSAP/EPC/HHSRS surveys in a social housing setting.
  • Ability to collate, analyse, develop, write and present survey reports/recommendations on all areas of responsibility when required.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to keeping up to date with developments in the sector with regards asset management and investment works.
  • Working knowledge of the current planning and building regulations and keeping up to date with new developments.
