Job Description

£28,000 - £32,000 + £300 Bonus + Fantastic BenefitsAs a result of continued growth, an experienced, highly organised Quality Administrator with strong attention to detail, is required to deliver an unparalleled level of quality support for a leading packing supplier with an industry wide reputation for providingservice excellence.Our client provides sustainable supply solutions to the FMCG sector with honesty and integrity through an unrivalled consultative approach, guaranteed to deliver less; less downtime, less cost and less waste! Working closely with the Customer Service team, the successful Quality Administrator will maintain internal compliance systems, processing product quality cases with suppliers and supporting operational projects for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced Quality Administrator looking for a new, exciting role offering genuine career progression towards a management position in the near future. Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain an outstanding response time to customer requests.
  • To maintain systems to the standards of BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO17025, and ISO14001 certifications, and Health & Safety compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement project support.
  • Processing of customer requests including product specification sheets, supplier audit questionnaires, certificates, Declaration of Compliance, etc.
  • Work with customer service to resolve product non-conformance cases that affect customers, ensuring a fast professional response is maintained.
  • Work with suppliers to follow through on product or service non-conformance.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of accreditation systems and manage tasks to ensure complete. These include Product Specification Sheets and routine checklist management designed to maintain compliance with Quality and H+S.
  • Assist and support in projects of continuous improvement and implement updates to quality standards. This involves cross department interaction and working as a team.
Skills & Experiences
  • Minimum of 3 years in a quality administration or coordinator role.
  • The adaptability to be able to stand in with short term cover for staff leave in customer service and procurement roles.
  • Good knowledge of quality analytical/problem solving tools & techniques gained through practical experience
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, be self-managing and to work under pressure
  • Able to gain respect and credibility through demonstration of technical knowledge and transferable skills
  • Experience of working within ISO compliant environment
  • A confident people person able to influence & communicate effectively at all levels of the business
