Job Description

Payroll AdvisorGrimsbyUp to £40,000Chase & Holland are proud to be partnering an innovative, forward-thinking FMCG business based in Grimsby to recruit a Payroll Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business and help implement new processes. The successful candidate willtake ownership of their own workload and take control of the payroll function. This role will suit a driven candidate who is looking for a new challenge. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Complete the full payroll process using the time and attendance database and the spreadsheet
  • Monitor daily absences to ensure the correct action is taken in line with company sick pay
  • Ensuring all hours are allocated to the correct costings and employees on a daily basis
  • Check and send real time information to HMRC weekly
  • Run and distribute payroll reports
  • Managing holiday requests and entitlements
  • Liaising with employees at all levels to answer queries
  • Distribute weekly pay slips
  • Ensure all BACS payments are authorised and correct
  • Input and update all new starters and leavers
  • Assist with the administration of company pensions and employee benefits
Requirements:
  • Solid experience within a high volume payroll environment
  • Keen eye for details with the ability to manage own work load
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels
  • A proactive candidate who is keen to implement new processes
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines
