Job Description

Job Title: Part-time Science Teacher Location: Grimsby Days of Work: Wednesdays and Thursdays Pay Range: £143 - £199 per day (depending on experience)Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced science teacher for a part-time position at a secondary school in Grimsby. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire students to learn and develop theirscientific knowledge.Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality science lessons to secondary school students
  • Planning and preparing lesson materials in advance
  • Marking student work and providing feedback
  • Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in science or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
  • Experience teaching science at secondary school level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively
This part-time position will start immediately and run until the end of the academic year.
