Job Description

Management Accountant – Grimsby –Up to £35,000 & Study SupportChase & Holland are excited to be working with a FMCG organisation that boasts impressive market share, who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.You will report directly to the Operations Financial Controller for a large production site,whilst working alongside other teams to provide reporting on stock, labour and management accounts insight. You will support the continuous improvement plan, improving data feeds and reporting meaningful data to various stakeholders.Package & Benefits:

Management Accountant responsibilities will include:
  • Trusted financial support to the Financial Controller and the Operational Managers
  • Production of management accounts reporting pack for Site
  • Preparation and reconciliation of stock, including highlighting risks
  • Monthly analysis of labour productivity and costs
  • Preparation of monthly continuous improvement pack
  • Working closely with the factory managers to monitor and improve performance of yield
  • Root cause analysis and highlighting risk areas and trends
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting for the management team
  • Drawing out management insights, challenging and supporting operational teams
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Actively studying ACCA/CIMA
  • Management accounts experience
  • You will need to have worked ideally in FMCG or manufacturing with high volume transactions
  • Ability to explain financial information to non-finance managers in a way they understand
  • IT literate including ERP systems and strong experience on Excel (pivots, lookups)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
