Job Description

HGV TechnicianAn exciting position has become available for a full-time HGV Technician based in Grimsby.You will work 11.5 hour day shifts 4 on/4 off rota.Role Requirements

  • Ideally you will hold NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in commercial vehicle repair.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working within the industry.
  • You will have a thorough knowledge of HGV, LGV and Trailer systems.
  • A Valid Tachograph calibration certification would also be beneficial.
  • An HGV Driving licence would be beneficial, along with IRTE technician accreditation, however relevant training and accreditation will be available to attain these licences.
Role Responsibilities
  • Routine inspection and maintenance.
  • MOT preparation to DVSA standards.
  • Diagnostic investigation and repair.
  • Breakdown attendance, within working hours, 24/7 Customer Support rota outside working hours (additional payment).
