The organisation is looking for a progressive and innovative Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) leader to revitalise the businesses approach to SHE. The role will drive group wide improvements and development of governance systems, continuous improvementplans and overall cultural approach to SHE matters.Sofina Foods Europe (Sofina Foods Ltd) is one of the leading suppliers of fish, pork and related food products in the UK and Ireland through Youngs Seafood and Karro Food Group, and of coated fish products within the EU through Greenland Seafood. Ambitious and growing, the company aims to be the most successful food business in the world, mindful of its future impact and with core values of Integrity, Respect and Accountability.* Define and deploy Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) culture and standards across the group in order to support Youngs wider business strategy.* Responsibility for the ongoing development and deployment of SHE Management Systems and audits, including maintaining common policies and practices across the group, sharing best practices in audit preparation and addressing audit findings.* Lead the group SHE teams and develop the function and profile within Youngs, establish robust governance systems for continuous improvement. * Be proactive in dealing with the crisis management related to the SHE incidents* Maintain and improve environmental and social performance standards, working closely with the sustainability teams to drive a collaborative strategy.
