Job Description

Electrical Reliability Engineer - Power and ControlGrimsby, North East LincolnshireSalary £40,000 - £52,000 depending on skills and qualificationsOur client makes cellulose fibre from managed natural wood sources using sustainable cutting edge processes for textile, non-wovens and technical end uses.They are innovative by nature. How about youThey have an opportunity at their Grimsby continuous operation factory for a Power & Control (Electrical) Reliability EngineerPurpose & Key responsibilities for this role

  • Implement site reliability strategy
  • Collate and communicate reliability data and actions plans to maximise plant reliability
  • Assist in driving down business costs through identification and implementation of reliability improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement of fixed and rotating equipment reliability
  • Identify and lead site wide reliability focus groups
  • Provide support to the capital project process and secure capital funding when necessary
  • Interpret condition monitoring data and take necessary action as required
  • Line management of contractors fairly, firmly, reasonably and consistently
  • Ensure reliability improvement work is executed to the correct standards via internal and external work processes
  • Provide a technical engineering interface with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure reliability improvement engineering work is effectively implemented, particularly within the site planned shutdown events
  • Ensure all SHE matters are appropriately managed throughout area of responsibility to meet external and internal requirements/standards including own work performance and behaviour
  • Actively manage safety by identifying any incidents of Near Misses (Safety and Environmental) and ensure actions are initiated to minimise the risk of recurrence
  • Ensures compliance with Global Purchasing Policy GP01

  • Experience within an Industrial/Chemical Manufacturing environment
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • NEBOSH certification
  • Structured and analytical thinker with excellent standards & integrity
  • Professional with excellent interpersonal/communication skills at all levels, internally & externally
  • Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork, problem resolution skills
  • Able to demonstrate the highest standards with respect to SHE
  • Have both vision and energy to drive and develop their engineering team
