Job Description

The People Of: Ecommerce are currently recruiting an Ecommerce Manager for a successful womens fashion retailer, working hybrid between Grimsby and remote.You would be managing the daily trading of the site, using data analytics to ensure the conversion rate and average order value is continuously improved.As Ecommerce Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The day-to-day trading of the site and making decisions/ recommendations in the pricing, promotions and merchandising.
  • Ensuring the site is continually updated with relevant content which is presented to the highest standard.
  • Working with the existing external paid marketing agencies and identifying new areas to test across the customer journey, with the objective of acquiring new customers.
  • Supporting the Head of Content and PR with broadcast email campaigns using Klaviyo or an equivalent Email Service Provider.
  • Keeping up to date with competitor activity and the evolving industry to ensure the company remains ahead of the trends.
  • Reporting on the effectiveness of site trading and marketing activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing actionable insight and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Working with the wider team including buying and customer services, sharing insights and ensuring that existing and new technologies are effectively implemented.
  • Analysing data on sales, customers behaviour and shopping habits, reporting trends and making recommendations for improvements.
As Ecommerce Manager you will have:
  • Proven experience improving online sales performance and delivering growth, ideally within the retail sector.
  • A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience
  • Day to day management experience of using Shopify and app/technology marketplace associated with Shopify
  • Confidence in analysing data and presenting the findings
  • Experience in using Google Analytics and tag management solutions
  • Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing and technologies e.g. Google Optimize
  • Knowledge of using the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
