Job Description

Interim Credit Controller – Grimsby – Competitive Salary & BenefitsWe are proud to be partnering this UK leading client to recruit a proactive Credit Controller, with hybrid working (2 days at home and 3 days in office). The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a Credit Control position, with great communication skillsand the ability to build relationships with international customers. The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the debts of a business, working closely with the other Credit Controller to ensure timely receipt of cash and minimisation of bad debt risk.In Return You’ll Receive:

Credit Controller Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the outstanding debt is minimised
  • Maintaining customers debt to stay within agreed credit limits
  • Issuing paperwork such as account statements and final demand notices
  • Proactively identify accounts in need of increased or reduced credit limits
  • Allocation of cash and invoices on Sage
  • Being the prime point of contact for customers regarding financial position
  • Agreeing payment plans from customers
  • Reporting for debtor reviews and informing stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a Credit Control position
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word
  • Great personable skills to be able to build relationships with customers
  • Great communication skills with both external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Organisational and problem solving skills
