Job Description

Job Title: CleanerType of Business: Public SectorLocation: Between Grimsby, Barton and Brigg sites.Hourly Rate: £10.42 - £11.45 depending on experienceStart Date: ASAP Length of Contract: 3 MonthsHours: 30 per week - Mon-Fri 8am - 2pm (with some flexibility)GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Cleaner to our public sector client based in Grimsby, Barton and Brigg. The cleaner will carry out domestic/station cleaning duties, ensuring there are high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. They will also transport itemsand articles maintaining the safety of the working environment.Main Duties of the Cleaner:

  • Adhere to the cleaning schedule ensuring standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  • Ensure proper and effective use and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety requirements associated with the duties of the post are strictly adhered to
  • Comply with fire precaution requirements and the fire precaution drills associated with each aspect of the duties of the post.
  • Travel between sites during working hours.
Role Requirements
  • A good understanding of health and safety matters as they relate to cleaning duties.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Displays initiative and an ability to work without supervision.
  • Flexible approach to duties and willingness to provide cover for colleagues.
  • Own transportation as this role will require travel between different sites.
