If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!About the roleThe English department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Casual Programme Leader to join a friendly and well-established team. We are looking for someone to be able to provide an excellent experience to learners through exemplary teachingand learning and be able to provide flexible cover for the department in cases of staff absences so that learning is uninterrupted. If you are currently experienced in teaching GCSE English, Functional Skills and or ESOL; and are looking for a fresh challengeand are passionate about supporting young people achieve their aspirations and goals, then we are the team for you. We expect all Programme Leaders to work closely with the vocational areas to support all learners, ensuring that learners have everything inplace to achieve maximum progression within their journey whilst with us. There is also the potential of regular weekly teaching to support small groups of learners (no more than 6) in preparation for their exams and to help with any loss of learning.About the personIdeally, candidates will have the experience in managing and teaching learners in either a Secondary or Further Education setting. Candidates should hold a minimum Level 2/GCSE maths and English. A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or an equivalent)and a subject specialist degree.
