Job Description

Bank RadiographerPermanentSalary - Up to £30 per hourVarious Locations across the country.Various Locations across the country (Eastbourne, Coventry, Nuneaton, Shropshire, Telford, holmfirth. Barnsley, Rochdale, Ormskirk. Grimsby, Scunthorpe, goole, Louth, north hykham, spalding)Some travel may be required.Overall summary of the position:As a Radiographer, you will deliver a professional and efficient service, working alongside your colleagues in our dynamic and fast-paced sites. As an integral part of our clinical team, your skills as a Radiographer help us to deliver on our vision to makehealthcare better.What will you do as a Radiographer with Connect Health

  • Carry out modality specific imaging procedures to best practice standards of radiographic technique (MHRA Guidance 2015, IR(ME)R 2017, Code of Clinical Practice)
  • Provide a great experience for patients attending for a scan, supporting them through the process from referral to results
  • Run quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
  • Respect and work within patients and service users customs, values and spiritual beliefs, making sure their views are sought and taken into account
  • Support patient bookings and make sure Patient Information Systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information
  • Understand and work in line with our suite of corporate policies supporting personal and clinical safety, including the Health and Safety Policy and Infection Prevention and Control Policy
  • Demonstrate safe, effective practice in line with policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional competencies and CPD
  • Take ownership and fulfil the requirements of any required statutory and mandatory training
