Advanced Pharmacist / Accountable Pharmacist for Technical Services and Radiopharmacy (dependent on experience) A development opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our aseptic services and radiopharmacy teams. Working within modern facilities that were built and commissioned in 2017, you will have experience in the delivery of pharmacy aseptic and will work as part of a proactive, forward thinking team to further develop the Pharmacy Technician led service within our Aseptic Preparation Suite. You will also act as the Accountable Pharmacist for the Medical Physics radiopharmacy service based at the Grimsby site, working alongside clinical technologists and radiographers to further develop the existing service into the future.Working with colleagues, the post holder will be responsible for leadership of the technical preparation services in relation to provision of parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy products to patients across the Trust, with an emphasis on providing operational leadership and management to ensure the provision of a safe, high quality and cost efficient service to the Trust. The successful candidate should expect to work in a fast paced environment operating to key deadlines and delivering quality results through a well-managed team. You will also link with regional and national specialist colleagues and develop the service to ensure compliance with current and future standards that apply to NHS pharmacy technical services and radiopharmacy services.The initial banding at commencement in post will be agreed depending on previous experience.
