Secondary School on the Greenwich borders is recruiting for a talented, nurturing, empathetic and dedicated LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to start ASAP!Exemplary Mainstream Secondary School that has a designated ASD provision. Welcoming and supportive Senior Leadership Team, Middle Managers, Teachers and Support Staff. This Secondary School has new & exciting opportunities available due to the increased pupil roll. Pupils know what is expected of them and respond well to interactive and engaging lessons. Additionally they respond well with staff who are empathetic, able to build a strong rapport and supportive. It is imperative that any new member of staff is pro-active, consistent, able to lead with example and wants to make a difference to children and young people. Also all new Learning Mentors/ SENTAs/ LSAs must have worked in either a mainstream school/ SEN School / Alternative Provision or PRU.Immediate long term LSA (Learning Support Assistant) position would suit an enthusiastic, dedicated and talented member of staff, This is a full time position where you would be working within the ASD unit, so its essential that you have ASD/ SEN experience with children or young people. You will be working with KS3 & KS4 pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. You will be assisting them with their work, ensuring they are engaged in their studies, building a strong professional relationship with them and aiming to make a difference to their young lives.
