Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager,Working Hours: Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm. Although a flexible approach will be required and afforded with some weekends work a possibility.The ideal candidate will have experience working within a FMCG, fast paced environment working in a hands-on role actively within the warehouse on a day to day basis.You will be excited about being part of a fast growing, dynamic business. Our client thrives “To be the world’s favourite personalised clothing company” and supplies a vast range of customers from world leading brands such as Google, Skype, David Lloyd and Selfridges.Main Purpose of Job:As the Warehouse Manager you will take full control of the daily operations of the warehouse, including Inbound stock, storage, and order fulfillment.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the intake and storage of product. Dispatching of orders, internally and externally.
  • Supervise, manage and motivate employees and oversee daily operations.
  • Manage all departmental budgetary controls and work with SMT on cost savings
  • Ensure a high degree of detail and focus reducing picking errors.
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure stock inventories and locations are accurate.
  • Ensure there are sufficient warehouse supplies for daily operations.
  • Enforce all company rules and regulations.
  • Take real ownership of all material movement to production environments
  • Ensure logistic KPI’s are met in terms of cost analysis and delivery performance
  • Must have a truly exceptional attitude towards servicing customers, internally and externally. Providing a Right First Time Every Time mindset and culture.
  • Essential Experience:
  • Hands on team manager, leading from the front and by example
  • Have the experience and ability to effect change at the grass route level
  • Previous experience implementing process improvement and working to Health and safety standards
  • 2+ years’ previous experience in a warehouse supervisory / management role.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team of people from the front
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level.
  • Planning and organisation skills.
  • Technical and IT Skills, particularly when it comes to Warehouse Management Systems, there will be an opportunity to implement new systems and work with the SMT team and stakeholders to implement.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • This is a hands on physically demanding role and not an office based warehouse manager position.
