Job Description

Permanent position32.5 hours per week (full-time)Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland in Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management, and in our most recent OFSTED inspections we have achieved a rating of Outstanding for our school and Good for our residential homes.If you would like to join our teaching team we are confident that you will find this the most challenging but rewarding job you have ever undertaken.Experience is with SEN is not essential. All teachers are fully trained and supported in Gentle Teaching, TEACCH, Positive Behaviour Support, PECS and other augmentative communication systems, as well as being provided with a wide range of other specialist skills.
