Programme & QualificationBDO offer the Tax Pathway qualification on the Level 7 apprenticeship programme. In a dynamic, fast-moving industry, the demand for highly-qualified tax professionals has never been greater. The Tax Pathway provides a streamlined and efficient route to becoming a tax professional. The Tax Pathway enables you to achieve membership of both the ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) and the CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation). The duration of this programme is 48 months.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Employment Tax team in servicing their clients, working primarily with Assistant Managers and Managers but also direct working with senior team members on tax advisory and compliance projectsTake responsibility for all client matters as directed by the wider Employment Tax teamPrepare compliance returns e.g., Forms P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreement calculations, and support the Manager responsible for the teams compliance portfolioPreparation of engagement letters and client acceptance documentationActive adherence to budget and time pressures, bringing matters to the attention of the relevant ManagerEnsure professional standards are metFocus on delivering high quality work with attention to detailProvide an efficient and proactive service to clients and the wider employment tax team to ensure that their needs are fully metUndertake any training or development co-ordinated by the Tax teamWilling and open to take on tasks and challenges provided by their ManagerSuccessfully study towards your professional qualification and, where relevant, corresponding apprenticeshipWhen you join usWhen you join us, well make your growth our priority.
