Superintendent MRI Radiographer | Salary ranges up to £64,441 inclusive.Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs p/week | Prestigious London Private Hospital Our client is searching for an experienced Superintendent MRI Radiographer currently looking for an opportunityto lead the MRI department. This beautiful Private Hospital has a state-of-the-art department.Key Skills and ExperienceDegree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography and Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) registration.Post qualification experience in MRI,to include some experience in 3T MRI imaging.Experience in leading and managing day to day departmental activities.Experience in people management and leadership.Must have previous experience at Lead, Superintendent or Deputy level.The RoleIdentify, develop,and support staff training needs within your department in line with organisational objectives.Maintain and expand your professional knowledge and competence.Assist in mentoring and supervising radiography students who come to the MRI department.To promoteresearch-based practice, quality assurance and clinical audits where appropriateTo facilitate and promote CPD activity within the team (e.g., in-house presentations) and to audit CPD activity within the team.To support the Imaging Operations Manager and tolead in the provision of an efficient MRI scanning serviceAssist the Imaging Operations Manager and the Head of Imaging in the development of the department and the introduction of new services and be responsible for the leadership of the team of MRI radiographersOverallmanagement of the running of the MRI service on a day-to-day basis ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
