Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Covering shifts on a rota basis, Monday - Sunday; early, late and night shifts - 7:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm - 8:00am Service/Location: Devonshire House in Ardwick,Manchester Pay Rate: £10.20 per hour Role Overview:We are looking for dedicated and ambitious staff for our new 24 bed ABI rehabilitation service; Devonshire House in Ardwick, Manchester. This will be a challenging but rewarding role and an exciting opportunityto be involved in a service from its inception. Overseeing Support Workers, our Senior Support Workers ensure the support team work in accordance with care plans for individuals with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury). Youll operate within the home and local communitysettings providing hands-on care to the people we support, so you can expect total involvement in everything we do. At Voyage Care, we already have 18 specialist ABI rehabilitation services across the country, and we work intensively with multi-disciplinaryteams to rehabilitate and provide on-going care and support for people with brain injuries and complex needs. Thats 10% above the nationalaverage!100% of Scottish registered locations were graded overall compliant by the Care Inspectorate.100% of Welsh registered locations were rated as compliant by the Care Inspectorate Wales.We are proud to have 8 services rated outstanding by CQC.Requirements:Our Senior Support Workers are required to have a sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs, preferably with a Full UK (Manual) Driving Licence and are familiar with leading a team and managing responsibilities of the teams record keepingalong with supervising the team on a daily basis and bi-monthly supervision.
