Your new companyWell known university in London is seeking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer to work on several different projects as part of the wider IT team. Your new roleYou will work on a variety of different projects to start ASAP - VLans to firewall - Migration of VLans from the core back to the Firewall to provide better visibility and improve network security. • Azure Networking - Creation of Azure networking environment including VPN, Load Balancers, Palo Alto firewall & subnets/VLan creation. • Network Redesign - Provide input and share experience on best practice, improvements, SD Wan networking, strong security focus. • Netscaler Upgrade - Deploy and migrate services to new Citrix Netscaler appliances, make use of functionality available to optimise and secure. • Solarwinds deployment - Deploy Solarwinds as the main monitoring tool, initially to monitor the network and then scale to wider monitoring • AV Networking - New networking implementation for Audio Visual rooms, demo and live deployment to classroomsWhat youll need to succeedYou must have strong previous senior Networking experience preferably across multiple Senior roles / 3 years in a Senior role, Strong networking skills, strong overall IT skills at a 3rd line level.
