Senior Cyber Security Consultant One of the largest management consultancies, are looking for Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join their UK team. They are looking for advanced technical specialists to join their UK security function, and work with a number of high-profile clients across a multitude of sectors. This is ideal for someone with a broad security skillset, who has experience working closely with clients to transform their security posture. This is an opportunity for someone looking to work at a highly reputable consultancy, where they will be given a breadth of exposure to industries and clients managing the process from end-to-end. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT:Work across multiple sectors with various clients to achieve high level security transformations, by improving technical security controlsDesign and implements the innovate security solutions and best security practices in a variety of environmentsSupport network security processes such as cloud management, web filtering, email security and network access controlsOversee information protection technology vendorsReview and test new technologies for the information protection programmeManage the application security processes within the company, between the engineer, penetration, and other divisionsEnsure all external cleitn requirements are developed and secure throughout the design and building stagesManage secure development processes within the companyMake key recommendations for SIEM deployment and incident response practicesLead an information classification scheme to document and classify information for its archival and disposalSupport the management of solutions for remote wipe and encryption of mobile devicesWork with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate safeguarding needs SKILLS REQUIRED FOR A CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT:Experience with various operating systemsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP and or custom platforms)CISSP, CISM or GIAC are highly desirableExperience with PKI, IAM and Endpoint Detection and ResponseExperience managing red and blue team functionsExperience with network access controls and proxy managementStrong experience with firewalls, web filtering, DLP, email security and web securityExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with information lifecycle management, and network and infrastructure security BENEFITS OF BEING A CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT:Opportunity to design and build out security in a variety of client environments, gaining a high level of exposure to cyber security in different industry contextsOpportunity to work at an industry leading consultancy, with high profile clientsOpportunity to lead investigations into new technologies and make decisions on the tools and programmes used by individual companiesWork in an end-to-end capacity, visualising and designing security from the ground upWork directly with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate needs of each business
