Senior Application Security Engineer - Circa £80k - LondonCentral London based tech company is currently recruiting for a Senior DevSecOps / Application Security Engineer. This tech company has been recognised as one of Europes most successful high growth organisations and is continuing its growth by expanding its Application Security team The Lead / Principle role require significant commercial experience in driving change in the SDLC and acting as a SME / Lead on App Sec issues The Senior App Sec role will involve remediation of common security issues, whilst embedding security into the SDLC This is an opportunity to Join a greenfield security environment at a 300 person, £5bn tech company to lead or join their Application Security environment Provide aspirational leadership as an Application Security (DevSecOps) expert to a small, growing team of application security engineers Work with but not restricted to working with AWS, Azure, Google, IDS, IPS, WAF, OWASP, Security in SDLC, CI/CD, Jenkins, TeamCity, REST APIs, .Net, Python, Nodejs, Bash, PowerShell, SAST, Agile methodologies etc Work on automation, codifying & building security into the architecture of the tech organisation. This will involve excellent experience of application security in a Cloud environment in any industry (broad industry experience is preferred) and strong communication skills to help educate the entire tech team on why security being built into their processes matters and the most effective ways to make the relevant changes Represent security at the architecture guild; this will require gravitas & strong influencing skills Work for a CISO who is absolutely committed to your professional development & will encourage you to be involved in external facing engagements such as public speaking at events etc If this is a role you are interested in please apply on line or contact Catherine Burn, LT Harper
