A highly successful Investment Management firm with a strong track record and growth plans are currently looking for a Security Architect with considerable exposure to Azure to join their team on a 6 month contract inside IR35. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of security controls and operating model for this organisations Cloud migration programme. The programme scope will cover Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and various other components of Microsofts cloud ecosystem. Key tasks: Technical security lead and SME for multiple Cloud projects including Azure, Sharepoint, Teams, Cloud Proxy and Intune MAM/MDM Review and update security requirements and existing design artefacts for Azure IaaS migration Support the design and implementation of a new infrastructure architecture across Cloud migration programme Design security policies/blueprints for Azure IaaS environment based on regulatory and internal organisational requirements Design and configure the privileged access model for Azure on the existing AzureAD environment Configure and set up the Security & Compliance centres for Azure and Office 365 based on industry good practice Review and improve Intune MAM policies Design and configure Intune MDM policies Support the design and implementation of a Cloud Proxy solution as a security SME Support the ongoing Sharepoint Online migration project for a holistic security control model across Microsoft SaaS offerings Support the Teams migration project across its various strands including Voice, Chat and Teams (Channels)Key Deliverables: Design of a holistic controls architecture across the organisations Microsoft Cloud environment Advising the security target operating model for the post migration state Hands of support to the technical delivery teams for the implementation of security controls Producing relevant technical and design documents Acting as the primary point of contact in the Information Security team for the overall Cloud migration programme Managing communications with the IT Management team and key stakeholders to facilitate decision making and strategic alignmentYou will hold a BSc or above in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience with Industry recognized technical certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, SABSA, TOGAF etc. You will have previous experience supporting cloud architecture, design, implementation, operations and automation in Azure with deep technical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration/automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Ideally you will also possess Microsoft technical certifications Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 Security Administrator etc.
