Job Description

Were looking for an experienced Retentions Executive to join our growing Retentions team. Reporting into the Renewals Team Leader, we need reward driven people with high energy and great attitude, who would thrive on achieving renewal of business and keeping the customer happy."a great place to work, a great place to be a customer"The Role:

  • Proactively contact customer base towards the end of the contract to renew
  • High energy/volume outbound and inbound sales/retention calls
  • Contacting customers proactively who have had recent faults or complaints
  • Completing customer satisfaction surveys on targeted customers
  • Make business decisions based on protecting base and maintaining growth
  • Communicate directly and effectively with clients
  • Generate Telecoms and ICT sales to existing customers
  • Prepare proposals and monthly reports
  • Achievement of monthly KPIs and targets
  • Develop and maintain up to date product/service knowledge and market information
  • Liaising with team members to maximise the database potential
  • Create leads for other areas of the business by spotting opportunities
The Candidate:
  • Experience in an account manager role and / or retention role
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet retention targets
  • Excellent telephone sales skills and be able to articulate the value of staying with Chess
  • Effective communicator with superb negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Self-development
  • Adaptable to change
  • Good mathematical ability
  • Problem solver with good analytical skills
  • Telecoms knowledge/experience is preferred but is not essential for this role.
