Job Description

The Company:

The Role:
  • The Sales Engineer will develop and maintain commercial relationships with all relevant contractors in the highways and drainage space in the North-West.
  • You will work on a variety of projects and produce designs to meet contractual requirements in each given project.
  • You will use your existing contact base with contractors and consultants to assist in driving growth in the region and stay informed of all upcoming projects relevant to the business product base.
  • Leads are provided by the sales team and a well -established lead generator.
  • You may also be required to support colleagues around the region with other projects from time to time.
  • Strong base salary, with additional quarterly and annual earning potential working for a highly reputable brand.
The Ideal Person:
  • The ideal candidate will be someone with a Drainage Engineering background and the ability to produce technical drawings and designs for each individual project.
  • You will have a good understanding of the management of surface water and be used to working on projects in this arena.
  • You will have an existing network of contacts across North Wales and the North-West of England and be able to continue expanding your contact base.
  • Someone who has good negotiation and sales skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
  • The right candidate will be someone used to selling to and working with contractors.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the products they are going to sell.
  • Reside in the North-West of England or North Wales.
