Job Description

Scope:Consult are in collaboration with $4bn Med Tech company offering products across imaging, surgical and diagnostics. Recognised as a leading innovator in women’s health care they are committed to bringing ground breaking technology to the market that allow healthcare professionals around the world to diagnose and treat their patients with confidence and certitude.Responsibilities:

  • Analyse manufacturability and efficiency and deliver larger improvement projects with added complexity, which will enable manufacturing operations to meet the strategic plan.
  • Manage manufacturing operations projects, for process transfer, for the transfer of manufacturing processes from R&D to manufacturing, capital investment projects and process improvements.
  • Tracking work to be completed, setting deadlines, delegating tasks to the project team, and identifying any potential risks.
  • Ability to drive effective cross-functional team collaboration to optimize team strengths.
  • Carry out planning - this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks - in accordance with Validation Engineers and Manufacturing operatives. Some tools, such as Gantt charts should be used to create a visual project plan.
  • Manages master schedules
  • Select, lead, and motivate the project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
  • About You:
  • Requires a degree in Project Management or 5 years or more proven experience and practical knowledge about the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Experience in the in vitro diagnostics, medical devices or pharmaceutical industries desired.
  • A Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organization skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to motivate and lead your project team
  • The ability to monitor and control budgets
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations
  • The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead projects to the agreed timeline, with the use of Prince 2 principles or applicable
  • Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
