Job Description

Required from January 2021At Smallwood Primary School and Language Unit we are passionate about the education of our children, continuous professional development of all staff and a strong partnership with parents and the wider community.Smallwood Primary is a one and half form entry school, with a Language Resource Base, which is conveniently situated close to Earlsfield mainline station and Tooting Broadway underground. We are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed teacher to our Language Unit, Early Years to continue and contribute towards our forward momentum.We are seeking to appoint a full time permanent, Early Years class teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team. Applications are invited from teachers with knowledge and skills of teaching pupils in Early Years and pupils with SEN, particularly those with speech, language and communication difficulties.The post will be in our Early Years Language Unit class.We are looking for a teacher that is:

  • inspirational and highly effective in the classroom;
  • passionate about enabling every child to fulfill their potential;
  • able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
  • creative in their approach to childrens learning
