Their aim to use the least intrusive approaches possible to safely ensure children grow up in an environment where they are safe, happy, have positive and secure relationships and are able to fulfil their potential.About the RoleAs an AdvancedPractitioner you will be required to. Provide an efficient and effective service to children in need of support and their families at the right time. Provide support, supervision, and guidance to colleagues so that vulnerable children can remain within theirfamilies wherever possible. Work in a strengths-based way, using rational and restorative practice to promote a high challenge and support environment that delivers the best outcomes for children and young people. Take the lead on complex cases and supportothers by leading, coaching and supervise designated staff or students, whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Support the Practice Manager and Head of Service to drive quality and impact of social work practice across the service. You shouldhave 3 years experience of working in a Childrens social care setting, with 2 years at level 3. Working in a multi-agency statutory setting in relation to children, young people, and family needs. Have a wide range of experience of working with childrenand families, in complex situations, preventing escalation of needs and the application of early help offer/services and court experience and skills. You will keep up to date with the relevant regulations and social policy issues and of different approachesto social work practice, particular regard to restorative approaches with children and families.Additional InformationCommitment to working outside of normal hours from time to time, including weekends, if required Willingness to travel within and outsideof the Trafford area car user with access to a car. These are non- case holding social work roles that are about reaching out into the community, supporting the Early Help pilots, engaging with the Early Help Panels and reach out of the statutory service to enable the rightservice at the right time to be as early as possible.Do you have partnership skills Can you take advice and guidance to another level by stepping out and showing how to bring a plan together, assess risk, draw partners together and enable effective interventionto happen without coming into CSC Are you confident in your knowledge of risk, of thresholds and able to engage others kindly, building relationships in the community and making a difference for schools If yes, then your knowledge and confidence will bea great attribute in supporting the front door, taking referrals, and working alongside First Response Advisors and partners to share information, identify risk and strengths and facilitating work transfer to the right place at the right time.
