Job Description

Multichannel Marketing LeadLocation: Manchester (homeworking through lockdown)Base salary: Up to ~£45’000 plus benefitsCulture: Friendly, down-to-earth, family feel. Professional, ambitious, promote from within wherever possible.Are you passionate about multichannel marketing (MCM)Do you work in the pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industryThis newly created role has been designed by the franchise lead and head of marketing in order to meet the needs of an evolving engagement model.More than ever, it is important to use the best possible channel to meet the needs of customers and patients – where and when they want. This role is central to transforming the company’s approach to engagement and will be a key driving force behind the multichannel strategy and implementation across the product portfolio.Channel design and management will be key combined with broader support and imbedding of an MCM mindset across marketing and other functions to align with commercial goals and customer needs.Some key features:

  • Develop and maintain the MCM roadmap and taking ownership of key components
  • Manage the franchise web presence, continually improving traffic, conversion plus developing briefs and managing agencies
  • Managing content, compliance and approval using Veeva
  • Drive and project manage MCM projects for example – new channels, development of existing channels, MCM segmentation and profiling, content creation, channel metrics, marketing automation
  • Making improvements to MCM performance through analytics, insights and research
  • Support patient lead development of value-added digital services supporting disease and product awareness
  • Support customer-facing franchise activities including content and services
  • Bring innovative recommendations and solutions to digital/multichannel marketing
  • Drive the adoption of marketing automation within the marketing team including using appropriate agencies
  • Experience required:Minimum of three years in a comparable position to the one described above within the pharma or med-tech industry or:Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a marketing agency in a client-facing account management or consultative roleExperience in the design, planning & delivery of multichannel campaigns and experience working at an operational level to deliver and execute multiple projects in a timely and accurate fashionAbility to define, measure & report on campaign analytics & KPIsExcellent influencing, communication and project management skillsStakeholder engagement, budget management and implementation experienceAdditional desirable experience:Veeva or comparable copy approval tools and usageABPI qualification or good understandHighly versed in modern web / digital design & UX principlesExperience with multichannel platforms, web portals, email platforms, marketing automationWe have been supporting this company for 10+ years and are well placed to provide insight, feedback, and support.Please apply now or speak with Tom Midmore at Blue Pelican on or Lorna Plowright at Blue Pelican on .
