As Senior Program Director, candidate responsibilities will be to ensure that Internal Audit activities relating to the program are defined, managed, delivered and communicated effectively and efficiently. The candidate will coordinate and provide LIBOR Central Program team updates to relevant Governance Forums and Regulatory meetings (where relevant). In addition the role will require the need to test and report back to the program on established program management controls. Further detailed responsibilities include:Lead the interaction and co-ordination of all IA activities relating to the LIBOR program, for on and behalf of the program, to ensure appropriate context of program activities is understood by IA teams throughout the end to end audit lifecycle.Challenge the design and effectiveness of IA planning, execution, and delivery activities where relevant (including timeframes for planned activities, draft findings, ratings and remediation activities). Participate in various workstream and business audit meetings, and pro-actively advise and assist the workstream and business in advance and throughout these interactions.Identify solutions for a variety of complex and unique control issues, utilizing complex judgement and sophisticated analytical thoughtAnalyze draft report findings, and recommend interventions where needed, challenging both where appropriate, and propose creative and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues such that value of IA activities is maximised for the program and the bank.Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate emerging issues where relevant.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsProvide verbal and written updates to governance forums and regulators as appropriateEscalate any issues with responses or meeting timelines to Libor Initiative LeadQualifications:Solid experience in a related role - preferably with Internal Audit experience.Related certifications (IIA, CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferredDemonstrated successful experience in business, functional and people managementProven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high quality deliverables according to strict timetablesDemonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniquesConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environmentEffective negotiation skillsExtremely strong attention to detail within documentation and controls.Experience in presentation skills and senior stakeholder managementExperience of working globally with colleagues from different businesses and regionsPreferable experience would also include:Good Understanding of LIBOR and its implications within the industryGood understanding of Benchmark Regulatory Landscape (European Benchmark Regulation, IOSCO principles), FX Global Code of Conduct, etc.;Good knowledge of financial markets infrastructures, as well as Benchmark regulators and industry associations;Education:Bachelors/University 2.1 degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experienceJob Family Group: Risk ManagementJob Family:Business Risk & ControlsTime Type:Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
