Job Description

SOFTWARE ENGINEER | LEAD | SENIOR | TECH FOR GOOD | CONSULTANCY | AUTOMATION | JAVA | SCALA | RUBY | PYTHON | ES6 | REACT | C# | .NET CORE | LONDON | REMOTEA Lead OR Senior Software Engineer required to work for atech for goodconsultancy.The consultancy are currently undergoingrapid expansion.You must have the following skills and experience for this role;

  • Working directly with customers and users
  • Written code with tests (automation is important to our teams, so we make sure there is a CD pipeline set up to build, test, and release many times per day)
  • Delivery in an agile environment
  • Worked across a variety of programming languages(Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, ES6 with React, as well as C# with .NET Core)
  • Worked with databases
  • Worked with APIs
  • Desire to mentor others
  • Debugging experience in a range of systems
  • Desire to mentor others
If you have the following skills this will be advantageous in this role;
  • Consultancy experience
  • Pair programmingwe pair around 50% of the time
  • Writing code with test-driven development
  • Infrastructure as code technology like Terraform and Cloud Formation
  • Use of architectural decision records
  • Writing blog posts and giving talks
