Lead Anaesthetic Practitioner| Haringey | up to £48,000 per annum dependent on experience37.5 hoursNew opportunity to join one of Londons Private hospitals In north London who have just been taken over by a huge healthcare provider. About The HospitalThe Hospital opened in 1980 and provides first-class independent healthcare for the local community. Located in leafy North London near Hampstead Heath, our hospital is easily accessible from Central London and the surrounding areas. Boasting 32 luxury en-suitebedrooms, 4 operating theatres, 15 consulting suites and a Recovery unit. We are seeking for a new Lead Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner for the Theatre team. The successful candidate will be an expert Anaesthetic practitioner, will have experience leadingthe theatre and anaesthetic team and will be comfortable guiding others. The role requires someone who is able to multitask, and has excellent communication skills. As a Lead Anaesthetic Practitioner you will;Communicate pro-actively and effectively with otherswho are involved in the care of the patient.Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical and recovery equipment, drugs and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.Co-ordinate the use of the supplies and equipment during the operating listand during the immediate perioperative phase of care ensuring the equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner.Complete mandatory surgical checks prior to the start of the procedure, during and pre-wound closure.Conduct mandatory patient checks includinginformed consent, patients identity and operative site against the supporting documentation, prior to the start of the anaesthetic and prior to the start of the procedure.Act as a role model and mentor to junior staff.Mentor and support HCAs, junior ATPand newly registered PractitionersRequirements for Lead Recovery Practitioner; Have NMC/HCPC Registration and mentorship qualification.Operating Theatre TrainedOperating Theatre knowledge, re: infection control/sharps/aseptic technique Up to date on currenttheatre practiceEvidence of on-going professional developmentProven ability to maintain standards, initiate and develop evidence based practiceConsolidated theatre experience in a senior role for a minimum of 2 yearsThe BenefitsSalary - up to £48,000 per annumdependent on experience Location - London - Chelsea Contract Type - Permanent Weekly Hours - 37.5 Free Parking Award winning Training and Development Employee Assistance Programme to support your wellbeing both at work and at home + Many moreTo be consideredfor this position please send over your CV using this link or get in touch with Chloe Hughes on or email at
