Job Description

Interim Service Manager for Adult Hospitals & Communities£400 - £450 per day (Inside of IR35)3 - 6 month contractFull-time, with two days a week required on siteBaltimore Consulting are currently workign exclusively with an established client in the North West in their search for an Interim Service Manager to help lead their Adult Social Care Hospital and Community Teams. This position will be for 3 - 6 months, full-time with a requirement to be on site two days a week.Throughout the pandemic the authority has invested heavily into their hospital social care teams, delivering improvements and a recent restructure to drive performance and quality as they look to work more collaboratively with the community teams and externalpartners. As such, they are looking to bring on an experienced social care professional to lead in this area as we enter into the Winter Pressures period.Your duties as the Service Manager will include:

  • Managing two Team Managers who in team will lead their multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of social care operations with hospital and community settings.
  • Be reportable to the Head of Service in the delivery of operational and strategic objectives within the service.
  • You will assist in the development of directorate priorities, policies and guidelines in line with the authorities expectations.
  • You will be an SME and point of contact for escalation within the service.
Your required experience as a Service Manager will include:
  • Qualified Social Worker status
  • Have recent relative experience working within these services, leading social care teams.
  • Havethe ability to articulate well and communiate across all levels, including with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be confident inmaking change happen, build rapport and work professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
