INCIDENT RESPONSE LEAD CONSULTANT A global crisis-management consultancy, specialising in cyber security solutions, are looking for an Incident Response Consultant to lead their technical division. The company is a highly successful global boutique consultancy with a range of clients across various sectors. This is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of incident response and digital forensics, with consultant experience. RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN INCIDENT RESPONSE CONSULTANT: Lead consulting engagements with clients assessing cyber breaches by responding to digital forensic investigationsPerform host and network based cyber breach incident response investigationsDevelop face-to-face client relations by assessing their security environment and mapping future security plansCommunicate with c-level and senior leadership customersSupport business development by growing client poolDocument response policies and procedures by helping clients implement solutions, tools and frameworks SKILLS REQUIRED FOR AN INCIDENT RESPONSE CONSULTANT:Consultancy experience is essentialStrong knowledge of network tools such as FTK, ENCASE, Volatality, SIFT and WireSharkExperience with forensic, log, malware and root cause analysisKnowledge of various attacker toolsExperience delivering static and dynamic malware analysisExperience developing incident management plan with external facing clientsEntrepreneurial approach to generating strong client baseKnowledge of scripting languages is desirable BENEFITS OF BEING AN INCIDENT RESPONSE CONSULTANT:Exposure to a variety of different projects in various sectorsOpportunity to engage with clients and lead impactful security solutions within companiesCareer progression in a global boutique consultancy environment
