Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist -Neuro Rehab£50,000 plus benefits DOEMonday to Friday - sociable hours (8am-4pm,9am-5pm or 10am-6pm)TFS Healthcare are looking to recruit Highly Specialist Speech & language Therapist for an exciting new opportunitybased in London working within Neuro Rehab. Fantastic scope to be part of a Brand-New Service.The role will be working largely Autonomous within a Multidisciplinary S.A.L.T team, assessing, treating and managing patients with neurological disorders including(but not limited to) acquired brain injury, prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC), neuro-oncology, spinal injury and progressive disorders (e.g. multiple sclerosis). The successful candidate will be working on a 42 bed, dedicated neurological rehabilitationunit, with full provision of therapy equipment and robotic capabilities.All Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapists will report directly into the Head of Therapys.Our ideal Specialist Speech & Language Therapist will:Have a recognised Speech and LanguageTherapy Degree qualification or equivalentHave post-graduate experience in speech and language therapy within an acute hospital context at senior levelHave experience in speech and language therapy in the following areas: Neurosurgery and Neurorehabilitationor Acute Surgical/MedicalHave experiential post graduate learning and development of specialist skills such as Videofluoroscopy assessment and Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of SwallowTFS Healthcare is one of the UKs premier specialist recruitment agencies,covering all disciplines of AHP & HSS staffing.
