HCA | Theatres | Care | Ilford | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | Band 3 equivalent salary Spire London East Hospital are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic Theatre team. Working across a rota that covers 7.30am - 9pm Monday to Saturdayyou will provide support during procedures and have first class long term career development opportunities. Spire London East Hospital (formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive privatehospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic tests in a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called pods. Facilities include four operatingtheatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery unit, pharmacy, x-ray, outpatient and diagnostic facilities. Duties and responsibilities: Working as a HCA in Theatres you will be responsible for supporting the team during procedures. This will include ensuringthe correct instruments are prepared, opening sterile packs and some patient transport. Within this role there is a key focus on infection control as you assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and Theatres as a whole whilst providing firstrate car to our patients.
