LRMN is a thriving organisation and one of the most established refugees and migrants organisations providing services in London but focusing in south and southeast London boroughs. Our services include provision of specialist legal advice and information on immigration, housing and welfare, therapeutic and practical support to women who survived gender based violence, helping our service users access employment, training and volunteering opportunities, prevention of mental health problems, and helping our clients integrate and engage in their community. We have grown over the years both in terms of staffing and range of services and to help manage our growth and support our CEO, we are recruiting for an experienced and highly skilled person to successfully manage our operations.As Head of Operations, you will provide operational and organisational leadership as a key member of the senior management team and implement the necessary changes required to meet the needs of LRMN moving forward. You will deputise for the CEO and support her in setting the strategic direction of LRMN to create a sustainable future. To be successful, you should be a strong people manager with solid knowledge and experience in; service management and delivery, compliance on Health and Safety and GDPR, monitoring and evaluation, service user engagement and volunteer management. Knowledge and experience of working for a legal and welfare advice organisation is desirable as well as awareness of issues and barriers faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in accessing appropriate services. You should be highly motivated, decisive about business activities that will deliver benefits, initiating action and managing resources efficiently.We are based in Deptford, Lewisham and due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are currently working from home.
