Job Description

Are you looking for a working from home position to keep you busy until XmasDo you want to be an integral part of getting a brand-new Ecommerce website ready for launchThen, look no further! We are recruiting an Ecommerce Content Coordinator to handle a project on a fixed term contract from 1st October - 2nd December (inclusive). The role is full time, with a salary of £23,000 per annum (pro ratad). The office is based in Macclesfield and you will need to attend a project meeting every Tuesday, so you will need to be happy with the commute once a week, but for the remainder of the time you will be working from the comfort of your own home.Although you’ll be WFH, you will be working with an incredibly supportive team and will be given procedural checkboxes to ensure you know exactly what you’re doing, at all times. So, you’ll never be left wondering if you’re getting everything right! As the Ecommerce Content Coordinator, your role would be to get the products ready and uploaded into the website. You will be given the product details; you would then research through supplier’s catalogues and websites to find the correct product images and descriptions. From there, you would resize the images and spellcheck the text to ensure everything is ready for upload. Finally, you would add the content into the back-end of the website and categorise. There are 60,000(!) products to upload… But don’t panic! The products will be broken down into sections and you will have exact timelines to work to for each set of products, so you will be able to manage your own time effectively. You will need experience in a similar Ecommerce Content Coordinator position using either the Bigcommerce or Shopify platform. Additionally, you will need to know your way around Photoshop for the purposes of resizing the images. And of course, you will need to be available for the whole contract period. If this sounds like the role for you, please apply with your CV today!
