Role: Digital Products Sales ManagerLocation: MSSC HQ, 202 Lambeth Road (currently flexible home working due to covid-19)Contract: Full time, permanentSalary: £35,000 gross per annumClosingDate: 6th November 2020 MiddayInterviews: w/c 16th November 2020Application: CV & Supporting StatementMarine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a leading maritime charity in lifelong learning and personal development and is the governing charity of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a civilian voluntary youth organisation engaging some 15,000 young people over 400 Sea Cadet Units, throughout the UK. The SCC offers a wide range of youth opportunities with the same enduring objective - to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun.We are seeking a Digital Products Sales Manager who will be responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities to increase our ability to support seafarers, generating business for our learning products and services so that we can deliver greater charitable benefit to our beneficiaries, and further developing our relationships with the sector.For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Carla Rockson onor Key areas will focus on:

  • Grow the number of individual and corporate subscribers, as well as meeting agreed sales targets.
  • Be responsible for the technical development of the Charitys award winning Learn@Sea digital platform. Act as main contact with the developer and ensure a positive working relationship.
  • Line manage the digital marketing apprentice.
  • We are a national charity helping to develop lifelong learning skills for the youths of today. With strong links to the maritime sector and Royal Navy.
