Job Description

  • IDENTIFY, OBTAIN and DEVELOP relevant data sets and trends DESIGN and DELIVER visualisations, charts, and graphs in the dashboardUNDERSTAND the operating context to INFORM delivery
  • IMMEDIATE START
  • Key skill and experience
    • Essential: Vetting. Individuals will be required to hold a minimum of SECURITY CLEARANCE (CTC) Vetting to undertake this post.Highly Desirable:
  • Highly data and IT literate. Individuals will be required to onboard data in accordance with established CG data protocols and must be current and competent using Excel and associated programmes. Individuals must be able to assure and validate data to CG standards. Data may relate to the following sectors: natural hazards; transport; supply chains; public services; economy; etc.
  • Data visualisation experience. Individuals must be able to develop visualisations. Training on the dashboard will be provided.
  • Communication and influence. Individuals will be required to communicate effectively with CG analysts and policy officials, up to 1*, to obtain data and brief their work.
    • Desirable:
  • Coding and Modelling. Analysts should be experienced using PYTHON and R programming applications as well as Plotly, ArcGIS etc
