Cyber Security Engineer An award-winning digital healthcare platform, are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to be responsible for all internal security monitoring, cloud andsecurity controls. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for career progression and autonomy in a health-tech environment. This person will report directly into the CISO and receive one-on-one opportunities for development. They will be responsible for assessing the security posture of the company and implementing solutions. This is an ideal role for someone looking to work in an internal end-user environment. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SECURITY ENGINEER:Support network security processes such as cloud management, web filtering, email security and network access controlsOversee information protection technology vendorsReview and test new technologies for the information protection programmeManage the application security processes within the company, between the engineer, penetration, and other divisionsEnsure all internal (and external) application requirements are developed and secure throughout the design and building stagesManage secure development processes within the companyLead the SIEM deploymentLead an information classification scheme to document and classify information for its archival and disposalSupport the management of solutions for remote wipe and encryption of mobile devicesWork with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate safeguarding needs SKILLS REQUIRED FOR A SECURITY ENGINGEER:5 years work experience in information security as an engineerExperience with Azure is requiredExperience with Office365CISSP, CISM or GIAC are highly desirableExperience with PKI, IAM and Endpoint Detection and ResponseExperience with network access controls and proxy managementStrong experience with firewalls, web filtering, DLP, email security and web securityStrong communication skillsExperience with information lifecycle management, and network and infrastructure security BENEFITS OF BEING A SECURITY ENGINEER:Opportunity to work on a project building security from the ground upOpportunity to report directly into the CIOLead investigations into new technologies and make decisions on the tools and programmes used by the companyWork collaboratively with other divisions to achieve highest security standardsWork directly with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate needs of the business
