Job Description

Location – The Christie Private Care, Wilmslow Rd, Withington, Manchester M20 4BXShifts: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30, Full Time, 37.5 Hours Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 Depending on the experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)About the RoleThe Consultant Liaison Officer will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Joint Venture North business plan and activities across The Christie Private Care, driving GP referrals and consultant recruitment and retention.They will also assist in developing hospital product and service initiatives in response to market conditions/demands.Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement hospital business & marketing plans to deliver volume, revenue and profit growth including development of new products/services to respond to local demand/needs.
  • To support hospital communication strategies maximising PR opportunities and developing profile of hospital in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • To manage assist the COO with the consultant contact management database for each consultant - tracking key motivators for this consultant.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports, identifying trends, additional business opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth with the COO.
  • Work with Marketing team to ensure that new consultants are effectively marketed to key demographics.
  • Seek out and recruit new consultants in line with facility growth and strategy plans.
Skills & Experience:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Previous extensive experience of working with healthcare management team
  • Excellent IT skills: competency using all MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous hospital based clinical/ operational experience would be an advantage
  • Able to work on own initiative, pro-active and to cope in changing environments
