The Commercial Accountant Analyst is an exciting position to work with a leading Legal Firm in Central London. Within this role, you will provide reliable, high-quality data and analysis, reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Accountant and work closely with wider Commercial team.Client DetailsMy client are a rapidly growing independent law firm offering a wide range of legal services to companies and individuals. Based in London and Singapore, the firm services an international community of clients cover Corporate; Dispute Resolution; Employment; Intellectual Property; Private; and Real Estate.DescriptionThe Commercial Accountant Analyst will be responsible for the following: * Ensuring financial information and data is accurate and reliable.* Maintenance of data in key internal systems. * Working with data, slicing and dicing it, analysing it, presenting it, talking people through it.* Ability to confidently produce reconciliations of data across internal systems. * Preparing management reports and analysis focusing on fee earning financial performance* Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are built and maintained.* Provide support to the Senior Commercial Accountant with any ad hoc financial analysis.* Assist with the preparation of other key reports on financials and performance, reporting and highlighting required business interventions* Generate ad-hoc financial reporting and models * Assist in the budgeting process by maintaining the budget model with updated information as it flows through* Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses as requested* Present monthly results, understand variances between forecast and actual results* Contribute to projects, which support and promote the improvement of our control, reporting and business processes across the Group* Take ownership of daily reports and large data packs* Work with finance teams to ensure that the full end to end workflow is relevant and robustProfileThe successful Commercial Accountant Analyst: * Advanced Excel skills are required, including a good understanding of formulas and pivot tables* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Preferably experience working with Aderant * Preferably part qualified or studying (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)* A self-starter with the ability to work unaided and to build working relationships with stakeholders* Interested in developing your commercial acumen* Team player - within the team and working more widely with other parts of Finance and firm* Curious and enthusiastic mind-set, willing to uncover intricacies and get stuck inJob OfferThe successful Commercial Accountant Analyst will receive the salary of £45,000 - £50,000 alongside these other benefits: - Study Support - Competitive Annual Leave allowance - Progression and Development
