BMS - Histology | CQC Outstanding Hospital | Band 5 Equivalent | Manchester Spire Manchester has an exciting opportunity an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Histology department. Spire Manchester Hospital is a brand new, £65m state-of-the-arthealthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. You will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and progressive environment. The Manchester team currently consists of over 700 colleagues and we arerapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams. Duties and responsibilities; Based at our brand new purpose built Laboratory 1.5 miles offsite from Spire Manchester in Didsbury - you will have a responsibilityfor dissection, embedding, microtomy, IHC and performing histology tasks on our analysers. You will manage a daily workload, hitting targets within a suitable time frame whilst maintaining safety and Quality at all time. The BMS will be expected to partakeheavily within the Quality Management System and keep their documents and designated assets up to date as well as partake in audits completed in a timely manner.
