Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a band 6 Audiologist for a position with our client in the Essex Area. This role will be Full time 40 hours pw inc some weekends. Duties will include, Audiology service, ENT clinics and repairs and fittings.Newly qualified Audiologists will be considered. Reimbursed DBS Reimbursed online training JOB OUTCOMES: To provide a comprehensive and high-quality audiology service within prescribed timescales. To abide by the HCPC regulations governinghearing aid dispensing, the BSA recommended procedures for audiological procedures, and the BSHAA code of practice for customer service. To be, or become, competent and confident in a range of audiological procedures including posturography, VNG, calorics,electrophysiology & real ear measures. To carry our microsuction ear clearance in a safe and effective way. To ensure own continuing professional development portfolio is current and relevant to training and development needs To ensure that Click Hearingis always represented in a professional manner To ensure that patients and visitors are welcomed and that their individual needs are met in an appropriate and courteous manner. To deal with telephone and personal inquires appropriately, always maintainingconfidentiality, maintaining a confident and positive client care approach To ensure entries onto the computerised Patient Management System are timely, accurate and complete. To maintain effective communication to ensure a high-quality service To ensureorders are deal with in a professional and timely manner To log stock in and out as appropriate DESIRABLE CRITERIA- Experience in a private healthcare setting. Training and experience in tinnitus counselling/rehab. Training and experience in VRT. Trainingand experience in clinical ear care/microsuction.
