Band 8a Speech and Language Therapist Start Date: ASAP - OngoingProvide effective and efficient organisation and managementof the adult inpatient SALT serviceProvide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with other clinical leads within the TrustProvide expert therapeutic assessment and management to adult inpatients with swallowing, voice and communication impairments,as well as provide second opinions and specialist adviceTo provide clinical and non-clinical support, education, appraisals, supervision and leadership for junior, senior and unqualified staffTo work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure effectiveand holistic patient management, to implement effective care plans, as well as enable joint service developmentTo participate in, and where appropriate to lead collaborative working, planning and delivery of services with patients, carers and colleaguesin healthcare, the voluntary sector and Social Care.
