Accounts Assistant- 9month FTC- Manchester city centreAxon Moore have partnered with an international Software company based in Manchester city centre who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant for 9 months. The Accounts Assistant will be reporting to the Management Accountant and will be workingclosely with the Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team. This role will be reporting to the Management Accountant and will be working closely with the Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance team.Main Duties- Working with the Assistant Management Accountant to maintain the purchase ledger, processing purchase invoices and processing payments- Reconciling UK and US bank accounts- Assisting the Assistant Management Accountant with maintaining the spend management platform.- Process company credit cards monthly, chasing receipts and processing on Quickbooks- Assisting the credit controller with contacting customers when required - Month end tasks including the petty cash reconciliation- Expenses management- Ad hoc tasksPerson Specifications- Part Qualified AAT- Experience in a general accounts department and good understanding of double-entry book-keeping- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail- Ability to plan and organise workload- Able to use own initiative to solve problems- Strong Excel skills (e.g Vlookups, pivot tables etc)- Have a desire to be part of a fast paced and high growth businessBenefits- Flexible working hours - Hybrid working (2 days in the office)- Free Friday lunches- Pension
