Warehouse AssistantGreat YarmouthFull Time - PermanentSalary £25,000 (pay review after 3 months)Our client, a well established family run building merchants, are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their Operations Team. They are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player who is smart, hungry for work and humble, so works well in a team.This is a responsible role which requires demanding physical work, accuracy, trust and clear communication.Duties & Responsibilities: * Daily picking and packing of orders that our being dispatched the next day* Daily stock checks* Goods In - checking off and putting away of goods coming in from our suppliers* Loading trucks at the end of the day so they are ready to go out the following day.* Other daily tasks as requested by the Logisitics Manager, including delivery driving.Skills, Experience & Personality:* Basic use of IT - essential* Standard UK Driving License - essential* Forklift License - preferable* Confident and proactive, able to take the initiative and resolve issues* Team player who can communicate well and work closely with others* Good face-to-face manner and able to remain professional under pressure, including not using bad language.Other Benefits: * Pension contributions* Monthly team bonus based on getting goods picked and packed accurately and on-timeIf you feel you have the relevant skills, experience and attitude to succeed in this role, please send your CV or call our branch on to find out more!
